3. Marina Bay Sands Skypark vs. Infinity Pool

Nightlife hub along the Singapore River. Drinks are expensive (SGD 20–28 per cocktail at Zouk or Attica), but walking the riverside at dusk costs nothing and looks good.
Getting Around
The MRT is the spine. It’s clean, frequent, and covers every major sight. Buy an EZ-Link card (SGD 12 including SGD 7 credit) at any MRT station on arrival. Top it up at 7-Eleven or FairPrice convenience stores. The 3-day tourist pass (SGD 22) is worth it if you’re doing Sentosa, the Zoo, and multiple neighbourhoods.
For the airport: the MRT Changi Airport station is on the East-West Line — AUD 2.50 to the CBD, 30 minutes. With heavy bags on a late arrival, Grab (AUD 28–35) is more comfortable.

Practical Tips for Australians
- Currency: Singapore Dollar (SGD). Cards accepted almost everywhere, but carry SGD 50–80 cash for hawker centres, markets, and smaller local shops.
- Tipping: Not customary. Restaurants add a 10% service charge — that’s already your tip.
